Two-Hour Sessions

The Daily Routine

• The session is designed to help teachers set up their classroom and daily schedule in a way that allows the children to know what to expect and what is expected of them while also supporting their social and developmental growth.  There are three parts to the session:  Plan & Do, Large Group Time, and All the Extras.

• This session is appropriate for preschool, elementary, and special education classrooms.

• This session can be made into a three-hour session with the third hour given to the teachers to plan a daily routine for their own classroom with Janiece's help.

 Preventing Behavior Problems and Resolving Conflict 

• This session is designed to help teachers run their classroom in a way that 1) reduces opportunities for behavior issues to arise 2) gives them ways to resolve issues between children while reaffirming the teacher expectations and supporting the emotions of the child/children involved and 3) use proven strategies to deal with ongoing behavior issues.

• This session is appropriate for preschool and special education classrooms.

• This is a two-hour session with time built in to deal with specific or non-specific situations a teacher may be facing.

Autism Spectrum Disorders

• This session is designed for teachers of students who have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder or who they suspect may have one.  Goals, teaching methods and appropriate expectations and consequences will be covered. 

• This session is appropriate for preschool, elementary, middle school and high school classrooms.

Incorporating Math, Science and History into the Preschool Classroom

• This session is designed to give teachers easy and fun ways to promote math, science and history in their early childhood classrooms.  Teachers will be given hard copies of general activities to build their own from.

• This session is designed for preschool only.
